Java Developer (Mid+)

At RD Projekt, we develop enterprise software that enables organizations to realize the business value of the information they already possess. The companies that rely on our knowledge discovery solution include high tech ones such as HP and NASA, as well as pharmaceutical companies currently active in COVID-19 vaccine research.

We are looking for a candidate that will help us with architecture and development of our ontology management software. This part of our solution is built on top of the Java technology stack, including Micronaut, Quarkus, OSGI, Spring and Apache Jena frameworks - hence a prior Java experience is required. Working in this team might serve as an opportunity to delve into applications of semantics-driven artificial intelligence as well as to grow into a more responsible role.

You will be working in a small team of developers and testers, adhering to Scrum methodology. Right now the work is remote, and a hybrid approach is going to be introduced after the pandemic.

Requirements:

• 3+ years Java experience and Spring framework
• Experience in REST interfaces
• Knowledge of microservice architecture
• Experience with tools such as Maven, Docker, Jenkins
• Understanding software testing strategies
• Fluent English
